To be published every 2 years<\/li>\n<li>To allow the board to focus recruitment and retention efforts in specific areas where they may have more impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Timeline:<\/h2>\n<p>The first copy of the annual membership report, based on data from 2016, should be published electronically in April 2018.<\/p>\n<h2>Data collection:<\/h2>\n<p>Data was collected from the membership information in CRPA\u2019s Wild Apricot database.<\/p>\n<h2>Highlights:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>CRPA is gaining new members, but some are also lapsing.<\/li>\n<li>Our membership is getting older (data not shown), and as those members begin to retire, our membership number may begin to drop. However, with the number of students increasing over the past three years, and the hope that those students will become full members, I think we are moving in the right direction.<\/li>\n<li>Approximately 44% of CRPA\u2019s full members are from Ontario. The second highest membership numbers are from Saskatchewan, which is where 14% of our members are located.<\/li>\n<li>The number of members in Western Canada has been increasing. Approximately 25% of our members are from British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Please stay tuned for our next edition to see if this trend continues.<\/li>\n<li>Most of our full members are from the medical sector (18%) followed by government and regulatory (15%).<\/li>\n<li>Our number of student members is increasing (from 15 in 2014, to 21 in 2015, and 24 in 2016).<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n<div class='content-column one_half last_column'><div style=\"padding:0px 0px 0px 10px;\"><div style=\"padding: 0px 0px 0px 20px; border-left: #dddddd 1px solid;\">\n<h2>Objectifs\u00a0:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Fournir un aper\u00e7u annuel des caract\u00e9ristiques des membres et de leur r\u00e9partition par cat\u00e9gories. Publi\u00e9 tous les 2 ans<\/li>\n<li>Permettre aux membres du Conseil de viser les efforts de recrutement et de r\u00e9tention dans des domaines pr\u00e9cis pour lesquels ils peuvent avoir plus de r\u00e9percussions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\u00c9ch\u00e9ancier\u00a0:<\/h2>\n<p>Selon les donn\u00e9es de 2016, la premi\u00e8re copie du rapport annuel des membres devrait \u00eatre publi\u00e9e par voie \u00e9lectronique en Avril 2018.<\/p>\n<h2>Collecte de donn\u00e9es\u00a0:<\/h2>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recueillies \u00e0 partir des renseignements sur les membres inscrits dans la base de donn\u00e9es Wild Apricot de l\u2019ACRP.<\/p>\n<h2>Points saillants :<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>L\u2019ACRP gagne de nouveaux membres tandis que d\u2019autres quittent l\u2019association.<\/li>\n<li>Comme nos membres vieillissent (donn\u00e9es non incluses), il se pourrait que leur nombre chute quand ils commenceront \u00e0 prendre leur retraite. Cependant, avec le nombre croissant d\u2019\u00e9tudiants au cours des trois\u00a0derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et l\u2019espoir qu\u2019ils deviennent des membres \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re, je crois que nous sommes sur la bonne voie.<\/li>\n<li>Environ 44\u00a0p.\u00a0cent des membres \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re de l\u2019ACRP viennent de l\u2019Ontario. Au deuxi\u00e8me rang viennent les membres de la Saskatchewan qui comptent pour 14\u00a0p.\u00a0cent de nos membres.<\/li>\n<li>Le nombre de membres provenant de l\u2019Ouest du Canada a augment\u00e9. Environ 25\u00a0p. \u00a0cent de nos membres viennent de la Colombie-Britannique, de l\u2019Alberta et de la Saskatchewan.
