Cette bourse marquera un moment charni\u00e8re de l\u2019histoire de l\u2019IRPC, soit le 45<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0anniversaire de l\u2019Institut et le 35<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0anniversaire de la cr\u00e9ation des Laboratoires nationaux Fergal Nolan \u00e0 Saskatoon, en Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Delmar \u00e9tait l\u2019un des fondateurs de l\u2019IRPC et a occup\u00e9 les fonctions de pr\u00e9sident fondateur, puis de pr\u00e9sident honoraire \u00e0 vie du conseil d\u2019administration de l\u2019Institut. Chercheur, \u00e9ducateur, fonctionnaire et leader visionnaire, Delmar a d\u00e9di\u00e9 sa vie \u00e0 l\u2019apprentissage, \u00e0 la fonction publique, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un monde plus s\u00fbr et plus pacifique. Son leadership au sein du gouvernement, du milieu universitaire et de la communaut\u00e9 a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner les institutions qui continuent \u00e0 servir les Canadien\u00b7ne\u00b7s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette bourse d\u2019\u00e9tudes c\u00e9l\u00e8bre l\u2019h\u00e9ritage de Delmar en soutenant les \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s qui s\u2019engagent \u00e0 faire progresser la radioprotection et \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger les travailleurs et travailleuses, le public et l\u2019environnement. Elle vise \u00e0 encourager la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de leaders dont la curiosit\u00e9, l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 et le sens du service refl\u00e8tent les valeurs que Delmar incarnait.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La bourse d\u2019\u00e9tudes est financ\u00e9e par l\u2019IRPC et est g\u00e9r\u00e9e par l\u2019ACRP. Le nombre et la valeur des bourses qui seront attribu\u00e9es chaque ann\u00e9e seront d\u00e9termin\u00e9s annuellement en fonction des fonds disponibles. En 2026, trois bourses d\u2019\u00e9tudes de 2\u2009000\u00a0$ chacune seront attribu\u00e9es, ainsi que trois nuit\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel et l\u2019inscription au congr\u00e8s (comprenant des billets pour le banquet) aux laur\u00e9at\u00b7e\u00b7s qui choisissent d\u2019assister au congr\u00e8s annuel de l\u2019ACRP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour \u00eatre admissibles, les candidat\u00b7e\u00b7s doivent \u00eatre inscrit\u00b7e\u00b7s \u00e0 temps plein dans un \u00e9tablissement d\u2019enseignement postsecondaire canadien et \u00eatre inscrits \u00e0 un programme li\u00e9 \u00e0 la radioprotection. Ils devront soumettre un essai sur le th\u00e8me\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Pourquoi la radioprotection est-elle importante dans le monde d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui et comment [ils] esp\u00e8rent contribuer \u00e0 ce domaine\u00a0\u00bb.
